Our Story

Born Out of
Faith & Purpose

Walking On Water Mentoring Inc. was founded on the conviction that every young person deserves a mentor who believes in them — someone who will walk alongside them through the challenges of life and point them toward something greater than themselves.

Our name is drawn from the biblical account of Peter walking on water — a story of faith, courage, and what becomes possible when we fix our eyes on Jesus. We believe that same faith can transform the lives of young people in our communities today.

From humble beginnings serving youth in New York City, WOW Inc. has grown into a multi-program organization reaching hundreds of young people through ministry, education, the arts, athletics, and financial empowerment.
